Overview:
Family based in Tadley, Hampshire are looking for a Nanny/housekeeper to help look after their two children – one girl aged 2.5 years old and another baby due in December, on a shared care basis.
The family are ideally looking for someone to help care for the children, alongside mum five days a week, Monday – Friday.
Hours are midday – 8pm. A core duty, especially when dad is away on business, would be helping with the evening bedtime routine. They require the flexibility for the nanny to not leave until the little girl is asleep, this is around 7:30pm/8pm. If the nanny ends up staying later, they will be paid overtime.
Mum will be home with the nanny so the role is shared care, although the nanny should be confident with sole charge as there will be occasions when mum is resting or out at appointments. It is expected that light housekeeping such as keeping communal areas clean and tidy would be undertaken whilst the children are napping.
The girl attends nursery which is a short walk or drive away. Nursery pick ups would be required, as well as providing age-appropriate activities which could include supervising swimming in the indoor pool at the house as well as excursions in the garden and the local countryside.
- Driving isn’t a requirement for the role but there is parking for the nanny’s car.
- The family has no pets.
- All usual childcare duties.
- Enhanced DBS qualified.
- 12 hour Paediatric First Aid.
