Live-in Nanny

Permanent or Temporary live-in Nanny Roles

Live-in Nanny Agency

Here at Annie’s Nannies, we know that having someone look after your child is a big responsibility. That is why we take the stress out of the process and offer you complete peace of mind. If you are a busy family a live-in nanny is the perfect option to give convenient and flexible care whenever you need it.

What is a Live-in Nanny?

A Live-in Nanny is a nanny whose main residence is your home. They live with you whilst caring for and supporting your children. One of the main benefits of having a Live-in Nanny is that they do not need to travel to be at work, so can therefore work longer days. They usually work between 10-12 hours per day and one or two nights of babysitting per week also tends to be included. They can also babysit at the weekend, but this needs to be agreed upon in advance and paid extra. The pay for a Live-in Nanny tends to be lower than a Live-out Nanny as they do not have the same financial outgoings such as rent or bills.

The Duties of a Live-in Nanny

A Live-in Nanny will take care of your children and all aspects of their care. This could be supporting them emotionally, socially and intellectually. Duties might include bathing the children, cooking well-balanced meals, doing their washing and ironing, organising playdates, taking and picking them up from school, getting them to after school clubs and helping with school homework. Their role can be permanent or temporary.
