Job Type: Live-out, Part – time Nanny/Housekeeper

Salary: £18 – £20+ gross per hour (depending on experience)
Overview:
Family based in Hook, Hampshire are looking for a Nanny to help look after their daughter aged 1 years old (at commencement of post), on a sole charge basis.
The family are ideally looking for someone to care for her three days per week, one of the days needs to be a Monday, the other two or three days can be flexible. The family can increase the days to four days in January 2026, or it can continue to be the three days.
Hours are 10am – 5pm.
Mum is returning to work after maternity leave, she works US hours and will be working from home. Her office is upstairs, but she would like to be able to pop down and see her daughter throughout the day. Dad mainly works in the office, but if he is ever home early, he will work upstairs with mum.
Mum is keen to build a rapport with the nanny and would like someone who can support her being a first-time mum.
There is lots of things to do locally, as well as playing at home with crafts etc. In time the mum will feel comfortable with the nanny going out the in car.
All usual childcare duties, and if the nanny can occasionally do a meal for the parents this is a bonus but isn’t essential. The first 1.5 hours would be housekeeping duties, such as laundry, hoovering, tidying. Deep clean wouldn’t be involved but general tidying around the house.
- Nanny with own car, mileage paid, car seats provided.
- The family has two cats.
- All usual childcare duties.
- Enhanced DBS qualified.
- 12 hour Paediatric First Aid.
