Overview:
Family based in Oxted, Surrey are looking for a Nanny to help look after their two children – two boys, one 3.5 years old and the other 5 months (at commencement of post), on a mixture of shared care and sole charge basis.
The family are ideally looking for someone to care for their children three days per week, Tuesday – Thursday.
Hours on Tuesday and Thursday are 8:30am/9am – 6:30pm/7pm and on Wednesday either 8:30am – 1pm or 2pm – 6:30pm. Totally 24.5 hours a week.
Mum doesn’t work, so there is a mixture of shared care when she is around, but the nanny needs to be confident to be sole charge at times too. Dad works from home, but on the days the nanny is not there. Dad also travels, so there is an option for extra babysitting hours and ad hoc days too. This isn’t a requirement though.
The eldest boy goes to nursery three days a week, the Wednesday would involve a nursery run. The family would really like the nanny to use their initiative with thinking of age-appropriate activities to help with the development of the children.
- Use of family car when on duty, however there is parking for your own.
- The family has no pets.
- All usual childcare duties.
- Enhanced DBS qualified.
- 12 hour Paediatric First Aid.
