Overview:
Family based in Wokingham, Berkshire are looking for a Nanny or Nanny/Housekeeper to help look after their two daughters (aged 4/nearly 5 and 18 months), on a sole charge basis.
Mum is undergoing surgery, so the family requires childcare and housekeeping help while she recovers. The family would need 3 months of 4 days, reducing the number of days thereafter while she gets back on her feet making sure she doesn’t overdo it.
The family is looking for someone to care for their children 4 days per week (see below for hours). The level of care the family would like is two full days on Monday and Friday and then a shorter day on Tuesday and Wednesday, mainly involving wrap-around care, mealtimes and some housekeeping related to the children.
Hours would be (33 hours in total):
Monday and Friday: 7.30am – 6.00pm (10.5 hours)
Tuesday and Wednesday: 7.30am – 9.00am and 2pm-6.30pm (6 hours).
The eldest girl goes to school and the youngest goes to nursery (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), which is when the housekeeping/admin duties would get done. No cleaning required.
- Use of family car when on duty or nanny with own car, mileage paid, car seats provided.
- The family has no pets.
- All usual childcare duties.
- Enhanced DBS qualified.
- 12 hour Paediatric First Aid.
